From the Map Imports/Exports dialog, navigate to the Imports tab
Right-click on the Imports node and select New Import.
On the new Import node created, select Add File...
Set the Files of Type filter to All files.
Select the VRT file.

specifying spatial criteria, feature parameters, and feature symbology.
Once imported, the points can be viewed and analyzed.
The import parameters can be saved and reused to an
Import Settings File. See the contents of the
Import Settings File topic for further information.
